Hulp & Support SMS and MMS

If you are having trouble sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages, check your smartphone's settings. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Tap "Messages" in your phone's main menu.
  2. Tap "Options/Settings".
  3. "Message center number".
  4. Enter +32 495 002 530 and press "OK".
  5. If you cannot find the message center number this way, consult your phone's user manual.

Your messages must be sent as "Text", "Standard", or "SMS". Check this setting.

If your contact is unreachable or their SIM card is full, Orange will keep your message for 72 hours. During this time, your message will be resent as soon as your contact is reachable again or has freed up space on their SIM card. If we are still unable to reach the recipient after 72 hours, the message will be deleted from the messaging system and will not be sent again.

Attention: MMS will be discontinued from December 1, 2027!
