Simone Michel-Lévy était une femme d’exception. Elle travaillait aux PTT, l’administration publique qui fut à l’origine de France Télécom, puis d’Orange et a combattu toute sa vie pour la liberté. Durant la guerre, elle faisait passer des messages clandestins, détournait du matériel, organisait des réseaux de résistance. Elle a été arrêtée, torturée, déportée. Elle est morte en avril 1945, quelques jours avant la libération du camp où elle était détenue. Son nom figure parmi les rares femmes Compagnons de la Libération. Hier, nous avons commémoré les 80 ans de sa disparition. Peu avant sa mort, elle a écrit à ses parents "Ne pleurez pas, c’est un ordre." Des mots qui témoignent de son courage exceptionnel et qui suffisent à faire sentir le poids de l’Histoire. Ce qu’elle a fait nous oblige. Et ce qu’elle a été nous inspire. Orange prend plus que jamais à cœur sa mission de transmission et de mémoire. Nous nous attacherons à transmettre cette valeur aux générations futures. The initiative #ForGoodConnections starts with real action Orange Slovensko is proud to be the first country in the Orange Group to launch #ForGoodConnections Days—kicking off at the Slovak Orange Youth Ice Hockey Championships🏒.   This initiative brings together two key goals: promoting digital safety and supporting youth sports. Alongside Digitálni rodičia and IPčko, we delivered engaging workshops to 280 teenagers—covering cyberbullying, screen time and online resilience. Aaaand, we did it! 🥳 Of course, I couldn’t sit this one out! 🏃♂️ This year too we headed to Cismigiu for a final stroll to gather as many steps as possible before the end of the All Connected challenge. With Simona and Antoine missing in action 😉, Alex and I took one for the team and stepped up quite literally. 10k steps more under our belt and one more day to surpass our target of 350k steps.   The challenge officially ends tomorrow at the end of the day, so if you haven’t made your steps count yet, there’s still time for some last-minute action! Let’s finish strong and make these final hours count for the benefit of the SOS Children's Villages! 👣   Apart the challenge, I really hope that we will remain with nice memories and healthy behaviors, especially with so many parks around Tandem 😊   #AllConnected #LifeAtOrange

Since Tuesday, we’ve launched our annual Orange #AllConnected challenge. And let’s be honest, I’m doing really bad 😅 The concept is pretty simple: over the next 10 days, all the Orange employees will walk and run together, aiming for 250,000 steps for each squad of four—all to support SOS Children's Villages International. We raised 200,000 euros for them last year and we want to do more this year. After a good start on Tuesday with this great football session, I did exactly 2,182 steps yesterday. Let’s face it, it’s a shame 😆 and my assistant Sylvie Bailly-Lazarew is now threatening to send me to all my customer meetings by foot 🙈👣 Hopefully my colleagues from Orange Business will do much better than me in the coming days. J’aime courir. Alors, quand le challenge est collectif et au service d’une cause qui nous touche tous - la protection de l’enfance -, chaque foulée a une saveur particulière. Cette année, aux côtés de collègues du monde entier, je cours pour soutenir SOS Villages d'Enfants. 10 jours de défi en équipes qui permettront à la Fondation Orange de verser jusqu’à 300 000 euros à l’association pour soutenir leurs actions. Le sport crée des ponts. L’engagement leur donne du sens. Tout le monde peut se dépasser. Au-delà du sport, il s’agit surtout d’avancer, avec et pour les autres.
