From 1 January 2026, all B2B companies will be required to process invoices automatically and electronically. As a digital partner, we are happy to help you prepare for a smooth transition.
To ensure secure and standardised invoicing, the Belgian government has decided that every B2B company should switch to structured e-invoicing from 2026. It will no longer be possible to send invoices in PDF format, by email or on paper. Invoices will be processed automatically and accurately using a standardised format. Many companies are choosing to work with Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online), an international network. Orange Belgium is also using this platform. We currently send thousands of Peppol invoices each month to customers who have made the transition. From 1 January 2026, this invoicing method will be mandatory, so we recommend making the switch now.
Switching to e-invoicing is mandatory. Fortunately, this transition also brings many benefits. Automation makes invoicing more efficient. The margin of error is reduced, and invoices are processed more quickly. That’s good news for the cash flow of all companies involved. It also frees up your administrative team, saving you time and money. Ultimately, it helps companies advance their digitalisation efforts and ensures that your invoicing is future-proof.
Whatever your company’s situation, Orange Belgium is here to support you during the transition.
