Do you need a low-cost, centralized solution to help simplify and manage your communications across all your international sites? Simply add an international SIP to your existing Orange Cloud Telephony solution.
Are you looking to optimize your communications and collaboration, strengthen your local presence and provide a better customer experience? And you also want to avoid high international call charges and complicated infrastructures? Orange has the solution: add an international SIP trunk to your existing Orange Cloud Telephony package. This allows you to easily integrate your international sites into a centralized cloud platform, whilst retaining local phone numbers for each country.
"Trunk SIP is a Voice over IP technology solution enabling you to make simultaneous phone calls via the internet rather than using the landline network,” explains Elie Noujeim, Orange’s Product Solutions Manager for Unified Communications Collaboration. Although international SIP trunks were already available through the Teams collaboration solution, you can now add it to a private branch exchange and to Orange’s Cloud Telephony.
This solution is suitable for companies of all sizes with operational headquarters in Belgium and entities abroad. Rather than using local operators for their sites abroad, they work with Orange. “Thanks to Orange’s international scope, we use the different national operator licences to bring the Belgian market a unique solution,” says Noujeim. “This gives clients a single dedicated partner that enables them to easily and centrally manage their calls.” All communications are essentially managed though the cloud, making it simple to configure phone numbers, manage calls and make infrastructure changes.
“For instance, an international SIP trunk via Cloud Telephony is a great asset in retail”, explains Noujeim. “Take the case of a Belgian high street chain which also has stores abroad, and whose IT systems are managed by a centralized IT system. Deploying this solution is quite straightforward. All you need for each site is a softphone, local number hosting and an internet connection. As this is a flexible solution, the high street chain can rapidly adapt its infrastructure in line with its growth. We can easily add or remove a number when a store opens or closes, regardless of which country or region it is based in.”
When you connect one of our collaboration solutions to an international SIP trunk, you get free calls between all your sites. Outside calls can be made at local rates, from local numbers, bringing costs down considerably. Moreover, customers are more likely to call you on a local telephone number, rather than risk calling a foreign phone number. Enabling them to call you at local rates boosts customer satisfaction ratings and their confidence in your company.
Do you already have foreign phone numbers? There’s no need to change them. Orange can still use them as well as set up new ones in the SIP trunk.
“To add an international SIP trunk, customers must be based in Belgium. For legal reasons, they must also have proof of their physical presence in any country for which they wish to add a number.”, adds Noujeim. “Because cloud telephony solutions are ideal for multi-site management, adding international numbers is possible with our Cloud Telephony solution, as well as with our Microsoft Teams offering (Direct Routing). We can also offer this unique solution across the rest of our UC solutions, such as private telephone exchanges.”
