The award for sole traders who make the difference

The Trophy of the Independentrewards driven entrepreneurs for the exceptional customer experience they provide. It turns the spotlight on sole traders who excel in what they do and inspire others.

Who inspires you with their vision or impact? Vote for your favourite entrepreneur until 28 March. Support your favourite sole trader and give them a leg up. The public ballot counts for 30% of the total, so every vote counts.

A professional jury will select 10 sole traders based in Flanders or Brussels, and another 10 based in Wallonia or Brussels. They will evaluate them on four criteria:

• Motivators: Entrepreneurs with infectious enthusiasm.
• Innovators: Sole traders whose innovative approach sets them apart.
• Impact makers: Companies that genuinely make a difference for their customers.
• Visionaries: Entrepreneurs who know where they are going and how to get there.

All the candidates and their stories are already featured on the website of the Trophy of the Independent. Your vote will help decide whether they make it to the final. The finalists will be rewarded with extra visibility on the channels of Orange Belgium. In addition, there are prizes worth up to €5,000 on offer.
