News Orange named best 5G network

Ookla^® is widely known for its Speedtest^® tool, a convenient web solution that measures your download and upload speeds in just one click. The Seattle-based company is the global market leader in network performance measurement and monitoring. It also organises the Speedtest Awards, honouring the fastest networks around the world. This year, the award went to us: Orange has the best 5G network in Belgium.

Millions of tests analysed

To precisely measure the actual speeds and the quality of browsing and video streaming on Orange’s 5G network, Ookla^® collected and analysed more than 2.5 million test results between early January and the end of June 2025. 

Our network delivered an outstanding performance. Based on these results, Ookla® awarded Orange the Speedtest Verified badge for Best 5G Network in Belgium.

More than speed 

In its report, Ookla^® notes that Orange not only achieved the highest average 5G download speed but also scored exceptionally well on other key parameters, such as response time, browsing quality and streaming quality.
