Orange 5G Lab in Brussels: experience the potential of 5G firsthand

Making 5G tangible, allowing companies to test it and taking the step towards practical applications together: that’s the aim of Orange Business’s 5G Labs. After Antwerp and Liège, there is now also a 5G Lab in Brussels. We work with companies to develop innovative applications so everyone can experience the potential of 5G up close. 

In Brussels, you can discover seven practical case studies in four domains: healthcare, safety, smart buildings and smart cities. One of these is briefly highlighted here: Ascom.

Case study: Ascom uses 5G to foster collaboration in healthcare

Hospitals rely on networks, from internal communication and medical equipment to telephony and emergency systems. Maintaining all these networks is complex and costly. Ascom wondered if it could all run on a single network. The company found the perfect solution in 5G and developed a device that keeps care staff connected anytime, anywhere.
