How do you use Conference Call?
- Step 1: call the first person. This can be either a landline or a mobile number. This person picks up the phone.
- Step 2: now call a second number. The first call is now automatically put on hold.
- Step 3: your second interlocutor has answered the phone. The first call is still on hold. In the menu of your device select ‘Options’ and then ‘Conference’ or ‘Join’ (depending on the brand and type of mobile). Now the three of you can have a conversation.
- Step 4: would you like to add even more correspondents? Repeat steps 2 and 3. You can hold a Conference Call with up to six people: yourself and five interlocutors.
- Step 5: do you want to consult with a single person during your Conference Call, without the others? Then select ‘Options’, ‘Conference’ and ‘Private’. Then select the name or number of the person you’d like to talk to in private. The others are put on hold.
- Step 6: do you want to add the others to the conversation again? Then select ‘Options’ and ‘Conference’ again.
- Step 7: has one of your interlocutors hung up? Then he/she has left the Conference Call. The others remain present. Have you hung up? Then all calls are ended.
